WD vs Seagate vs Buffalo vs Transcend......Please Help ?
Hey there I'm currently using a Seagate 500gb external hard disk (usb) and accidentally it was broken last week so now I'm thinking about upgrading to a 1tb version I've considered 4 brands as mentioned above and I wanna know for which of them should I go for as I don't have much of a knowledge about computers and peripherals
Some additional information :
# My laptop doesn't supports usb 3.0 its a 2.0
# My basic use is for storing movies , songs , videos etc. I don't have softwares , setups etc to store.
Thank you for your help...... :)
USB 3.0 is backward compatible with usb 2.0 with some decrease in transfer speed. So. u can buy usb 3.0 ext hard disk. I Suggest u to buy seagate only, it is the most popular hard disk manufacturing company. But be careful with the hard disk, dont break it again. Handle it carefully
